Introduction |

This station is a dedicated to those who served during and fought in the Vietnam War. A mix of pop, rock & R&B filled the airwaves in harmony along with a new heavier rock & roll just starting to take off and all sorts of poets protesting. It was the sounds that defined a nation during the Vietnam War. Sound clips from Good Morning Vietnam, Full Metal Jacket, Hamburger Hill, Adrian Cronauer, Presidents Nixon & Johnson speeches as well as AFVN announcements are part of the broadcast. We can NEVER forget all the Veterans we've lost in all of our past wars and battles on this day of remembrance. Also think of all of those that are still fighting battles daily no matter what your opinion may be, they're still our heroes and we need to pray daily that they're brought back home to their families!!
